The KMJ0401IC from Knowles Acoustics, Itasca, IL, is a digital MEMS joystick for handheld consumer devices that draws 40 µA in active mode and 3 µA in sleep mode. The 9.8 by 9.8 by 1.6 mm joystick features a fully integrated ADC with I2C interface, requires no additional controller IC, and can be integrated into smartphones, tablet PCs, notebooks, E-readers, smart remote controllers, wireless keyboards, and game controllers.
