The CV-X100 Series machine vision system from Keyence Corp. of America, Itasca, IL, has an intuitive interface and provides auto-teach inspection. Auto-Teach Inspection lets you automatically create an inspection from a set of known good parts; any parts that differ from the good image data will be flagged as defective; it also uses full color information to account for even subtle color differences. Other features include point-and-click high-precision measurement tools; a Camera Installation Replication tool to help you adjust the camera and lens for correct position, focus, and brightness settings; and software that can generate a user manual customized to your specific programs.
