The Model 4000A from Measurement Specialties Vibration Design Center, Aliso Viejo, CA, is a signal conditioned MEMS accelerometer with integral temperature compensation. Ranges are from ±2 g to ±200 g. The sensor operates from an 8–32 VDC supply, draws 5 mA of current, operates over a –20°C to 85°C temperature range, and is packaged in a rugged aluminum housing. Applications include transportation and instrumentation testing.
