SICK Inc., Minneapolis, MN, offers Z and next-generation ELF photoelectric sensors designed for presence detection applications on conveyor lines, packaging machines, bin controls, and hands-free systems. ELF3, ELF4, Z1/Z3 right-angle cable, and Z2 connector sensors are available in retroreflective, fixed background suppression, or energetic variants; the Z3 cable version is available in retroreflective mode only. The Z3 and ELF 4 have a spherical front mount. All feature a flush red lens and are rated IP67.
