Location Tracking Module from NavSync NavSync Ltd. December 7, 2009 NavSync Ltd., Aurora, IL, has collaborated with GainSpan Corp., San Jose, CA, to produce the NavTrac SLT module, capable of tracking over both indoor and outdoor WiFi networks. The device incorporates GainSpan's GS1010 ultra-low-power SoC and embedded software with NavSync's GPS receiver. The embedded 802.11 transceiver lets the module support WPA2, WPA, WEP-64, WEP128, and no encryption options. Applications include location tracking in container yards, open-pit mining, campus security, elderly and child safety, and fleet management. |
