PMI14V-F112-U-V3 inductive linear sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs Inc., Twinsburg, OH, are 35 mm wide by 41 mm deep, flush mountable, and have a 14 mm sensing range with resolutions up to 0.033 mm. A voltage output with zero position adjust lets you scale the unit to shorter usable lengths to satisfy your application requirements. The sensors are suited for spindle gripper position measurement in the machine tool industry.
