The SmartBob-TS1 from BinMaster Level Controls, Lincoln, NE, is a cable-based sensor for continuous level measurement in bins up to 60 ft. tall. The sensor weighs <10 lb. and works in environments where airborne dust and filling noise can affect the operation of other continuous level sensors. Designed to reliably measure levels of powders, granules, pellets, plastic resins, and other dry bulk solids in smaller bins, tanks, and silos, the SmartBob-TS1 offers 4–20 mA, RS-485, or wireless communications options. You can view the bin level data from a control console mounted at the base of the bins, send data to a PLC, view data from a PC running eBob software, or via the Internet using the BinView program.
