IR Temperature Sensors from Calex Electronics Calex Electronics Ltd. November 13, 2011 Calex Electronics Ltd., Leighton Buzzard, U.K., offers PyroCouple and PyroBus noncontact temperature sensors for industrial applications. PyroCouple compact IR temperature sensors have a temperature measurement range of –20°C to 500°C, fixed emissivity of 0.95, and provide either 2-wire 4–20 mA or 4-wire 0–50 mV/ Type J, K, or T thermocouple outputs. The 4-wire units also provide an internal sensor temperature. PyroBus Series sensors have a measurement range from –20°C to 500°C; configurable emissivity and signal processing; max., min., avg., and instantaneous readings; peak or valley hold; reflected energy compensation; and a built-in RS-485 Modbus RTU interface that lets you install up to 32 sensors on a single multidrop network. Both families have a 240 ms response time. |
