Texys America LLC, Indianapolis, IN, offers the Texense IR temperature sensor to measure vehicle temperatures and a thermocouple amplifier that can be mounted anywhere on the vehicle. The temperature sensor can measure temperatures from –40°C to1200°C, such as brake or tire temperatures, from a distance of 30 to 70 mm, and has a compact aluminum housing. The thermocouple amplifier completes your own thermocouple probe for measuring engine or exhaust temperature; it can read temperatures between –100°C to 1250°C, depending on model.
