IR Imaging Sensor from ULISULIS June 5, 2011 The Pico640E from ULIS, Veurey-Voroize, France, is a VGA 640 by 480, 17 µm IR imaging sensor with a 24.13 by 24.13 by 5.57 mm footprint. Thermal time constant is 8.8 ms, thermal resolution is <45 mK, uniform pixel factor of merit is 400 mK.ms. The uncooled microbolometer device can perform long-range detection up to ~2 km, depending on the target and can also detect fast-moving objects. Applications include military, thermography, predictive maintenance, and 24/7 camera surveillance. |
