A320 and A320G R&D StartIR Kits from FLIR Systems, Boston, MA, combine the company's A320 or A320G IR cameras with ExaminIR software for camera control, high-speed data recording, real-time or playback analysis, and report generation. The A320 has an uncooled microbolometer detector in the form of a 240 by 320 pixel focal plane array for noncontact temperature measurement and thermal image analysis. Features include an integral 25° lens, a 100 Mbit Ethernet interface, 16-bit radiometric image recording on a PC running the software, and composite video output. The A320G has similar features but has a Gigabit Ethernet interface for frame rates up to 60 Hz.
