December 2, 2012

National Instruments, Austin, TX, has added six new C Series I/O modules for its CompactRIO embedded control systems and CompactDAQ modular DA systems. The modules are: the 9467 GPS synchronization module that synchronizes a large-scale CompactRIO system with data time-stamping and system clock setting; the 9469 chassis synchronization module that lets you create high-channel-count distributed systems with custom timing and triggering by linking chassis with a standard Ethernet cable; the 9381 multifunction I/O module with both analog and digital I/O; the 9229 and 9239 analog input modules with BNC connectivity; and the 9220 analog input module with screw terminal or BNC connectivity. Channel counts on the individual modules range from 3 to 32 channels and most C Series modules work in both measurement platforms with no modification.
