The Model C-100MB from BinMaster, Lincoln, NE, is a Modbus-compatible control console that lets you control a SmartBob inventory management sensor network. Level data are acquired using SmartBob2 and SmartBob-TS1 sensors and the console then provides an interface for the Modbus master to initiate measurements, monitor measurement progress, and retrieve data for any or all sensors enabled in the console. The console allows you to easily control from 1–120 SmartBob sensors. Output is a 4–20 mA signal that, in conjunction with the external start input, provides a traditional interface to a PLC or DCS. Measurements can be displayed in a variety of formats.
