The MAQ20 from Dataforth Corp., Tucson, AZ, is a family of DIN rail mounted, programmable, multichannel, industrially rugged signal conditioning I/O and communication modules. Intended for use in factory and process automation, machine automation, military and aerospace, power and energy, oil and gas, and environmental monitoring, the system includes communication modules; analog input modules (process voltage, process current, and thermocouple; RTD input; strain-gauge input; and frequency input), analog output modules, and discrete I/O modules. Accuracy is ±0.035%, stability is 50 ppm/°C of reading typical, and modules have 1500 Vrms channel-to-bus isolation. Operating temperature range is –40°C to 75°C.
