Imaging Spectrograph Delivers High Spectral And Spatial Resolution

The IsoPlane 160 imaging spectrograph features a 160-mm focal length capable of high spectral and spatial resolution across a 27 mm x 14 mm focal plane. Compared to similar focal length spectrographs, it boasts 2.5x better resolution and improved aperture, i.e., f/3.5 versus f/4.0, which translates to 31% more light-gathering power. As per its maker, the IsoPlane 160 suits multiple-fiber spectroscopy and imaging as it can resolve dozens of spectral channels without crosstalk.
