The PCIe-1744 from Advantech Corp., Industrial Automation Group, Cincinnati, OH, is a 4-channel, 12-bit, ultra-high-speed analog DA card with a PCI Express interface and that is capable of handling analog to digital sampling simultaneously and independently on all four channels. Features include multiple trigger modes, a 30 MHz sampling rate, independent ADCs on each analog input channel, and large sample FIFO buffers on each channel. PCIe enables dynamic point-to-point behavior to allow more than one pair of devices to communicate with each other at the same time. Applications include those that require high sampling rates, such as those used in automatic test equipment, quality control, and factory production.
