High-Resolution Thermal Camera from FLIR

The Tau 640 from FLIR Systems Inc., Portland, OR, is a 640 by 480 resolution uncooled longwave thermal camera with 17 µm pixels and Digital Detail Enhancement image processing algorithms. The camera, a member of the company's Tau family of thermal imager cores, is suited for use in small, unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, unattended ground sensor systems, helmet-mounted vision systems, handheld firefighting imagers, thermal weapon sights, and security and surveillance systems. Camera Controller software lets you control most camera functions. An optional SDK is available.
