Microchip Technology Inc., Chandler, AZ, offers the PIC18F8723, PIC18F4553, and PIC18F8493 8-bit Flash microcontrollers with an onchip, high-speed 12-bit ADC. The PIC18F8723 microcontrollers are high-memory general-purpose devices with performance up to 10 MIPS and rich peripheral set. The PIC18F4553 microcontrollers add a full-speed USB transceiver and 12 MIPS performance while the PIC18F8493 LCD microcontroller family have integrated LCD drive capability. The 12-bit ADC provides precision for high-speed, high-resolution sensor measurements in medical, industrial, and utility metering applications. NanoWatt technology allows you to manage power consumption and extend battery life.
