The Model 2276 from Silicon Designs Inc., Kirkland, WA, is a rugged, industrial-grade MEMS capacitive accelerometer with a 4-wire threaded removable connector. Standard ranges are ±2 g to ±400 g. Sensors will reliably and continuously operate in temperatures to 125°C. Features include 2 analog voltage outputs, support for single-ended and differential modes, sensitivity independent from the 8–32 V supply voltage, and an output differential voltage of 0 VDC nominal at zero acceleration and ±4 VDC at F.S. acceleration. The sensor is tailored for zero-to-medium frequency applications and offers integral amplification and high-drive, low-impedance buffering.
