Wilcoxon Research, Germantown, MD, offers the 786-500 high-output accelerometer for machinery health monitoring. Output is 500 mV/g with 5% sensitivity tolerance, frequency response is ±3 dB from 0.2 Hz to 14 kHz, acceleration range is 10 g, and broadband noise floor is 250 µg. Applications include condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of slow-speed monitoring for cooling tower fans, slow-speed gearboxes, wind turbines, food processing equipment, slow-speed agitators, paper machine rollers, and large fans.
