The Model 621B40 from PCB Piezotronics Inc., IMI Sensors Div., Depew, NY, is a high-frequency industrial ICP accelerometer that operates to 30 kHz to provide reliable vibration monitoring. Applications include vibration measurements on high-speed compressors, gear boxes, and turbomachinery for early detection of impending problems. A magnetically mounted sensor supplies a response to >30 kHz, allowing you to obtain measurements of high-frequency phenomena.
