The TE-Power NODE from Micropelt GmbH, Freiburg, Germany, is a wireless thermoharvesting and energy budget explorer system. The device incorporates the company's MPG-D751 thermogenerator that converts temperature differences into usable energy. The system provides wireless thermal gradient recordings, battery charge progress indication, and duty-cycle energy budget simulation. It can also compare the generated energy to the equivalent number of batteries that would be required, based on user-input battery information. Digital temperature sensors monitor the hot and cold sides of the 12 mm^2 thermogenerator, and the generated thermovoltage is also monitored.
