The iC-MH from iC-Haus Corp. USA, Naperville, IL, is an integrated Hall encoder for sensing the angular shaft position using a diametral magnet. The part's internal signal processing uses the sine and cosine outputs of the Hall elements to determine angle. Resolution can be preprogrammed up to a max. of 4096 angle steps/rev.
