Hall Effect Position Sensors from API Technologies API Technologies Corp. February 12, 2012 API Technologies Corp., Orlando, FL, has added a 4–20 mA output option to its Spectrum Sensors H009 Series of Hall effect position sensors. The sensors are 0.875 in. dia. with a 0.750 in. max. length and have 12-bit resolution, a rotational life >100 million revolutions, and absolute linearity of ±0.1% at room temperature and ±0.3% over the operating temperature range of –40°C to 125°C. The sensors convert relative changes in a magnetic field into an electrical signal to provide position change information. The sensors are also available with analog, PWR, and serial output options. |
