The TrineX CW27 from NavSync Ltd., Aurora, IL, is a self-contained GPS receiver module based on the NemeriX NX3 high-sensitivity A-GPS single-chip receiver. The device uses a new baseband processor and RF front end to achieve low power consumption and small size and features signal tracking sensitivity of –159 dBm, single 3.3 VDC supply, an ARM7-based application processor, and a UART-NMEA interface. Applications include battery-powered devices, asset and personal tracking, location-based services, security, and surveying.
