Global Asset Tracker from Numerex Numerex Corp. September 18, 2011 Satellite FLEX satellite asset tracking system from Numerex Corp., Atlanta, GA, uses a lightweight, rugged global tracking tag that can also be used as a wireless sensor hub to provide additional systems monitoring. The 3.9 in. by 3.25 in. by 2 in., 14 oz. tag operates from 1611.25–1618.75 MHz, has a 22 dBm EIRP max. transmit power, 1.4 s/9 byte max. transmit time, and incorporates an internal motion sensor and wireless sensor transceiver interface. Operating temperature range is –20°C to 85°C. The multi-year battery-powered tag reports to the company's cloud-based platform that is network agnostic and encompasses global cellular or satellite plans offered through a single point of contact. |
