Hirschmann MACH100 rugged Gigabit Ethernet Workgroup Switches from Belden, Richmond, IN, offer fanless cooling and can connect workgroups to the backbone in production environments via twisted-pair cables as well as optical fibers. The 3 versions are the MACH104-20TX-F, MACH104-20TX-FR, and MACH104-TX-F-4PoE and each provides 20 RJ45 ports (10/100/1000 BASE-TX) and 4 combination 100/1000 BASE-FX ports for SFP fiber-optic transceivers. The MACH104-20TX-FR has a redundant power supply and 4 IEEE 802.3af PoE ports. The MACH104-20TX-F-4PoE has a rated output of 15.4 W per connected field device. Features include HIPER Ring media redundancy, MRP, Rapid Spanning Tree and Link Aggregation, access control according to IEEE 802.1x, IP and MAC port security, and SNMP v3 and SSH.
