Gap, Parallelism Sensor Systems from Capacitec

Capacitec Inc., Ayer, MA, offers a series of noncontact capacitive gap and parallelism sensor systems for the solar panel market. The systems are designed to measure the distance between liquid, antireflective, and CVD coating head-to-media during solar panel production. Coat gap uniformity of better than 0.25 µm with gaps as thin as 110 µm are possible across the full length of the coater die. The systems can be used throughout the manufacture of traditional and flexible solar panels.
