Flexible Angle Sensors Exploit Carbon-Based Nanotechnology

InFlect flex sensors employ carbon-based nanotechnology to deliver a highly sensitive and real-time response to varying angles of deflection. Features include a gauge factor greater than 15 times that of metal strain gauge, bi-directional bend sensitivity, a response time to bend of less than 10 ms, a greater than 98% linear change in resistance vs. bend angle from +180° to -180°, and an operating voltage range from 4 mV to 50V. Users benefits include increased yield through precise monitoring of equipment position, improved air flow monitoring with high-speed detection, prevention of equipment failure with real-time vibration monitoring, and easy interfacing to existing electronic systems.
