FleetVista from New Boundary Technologies, Minneapolis, MN, is Web-based remote monitoring software that lets fleet managers continuously monitor vehicle locations, destinations, and completed activities, as well as provide routing and other real-time input to fleet personnel. Companies install a small piece of FleetVista software into each driver's company smart phone. Once set up, any manager with a computer and Web browser can use FleetVista to control fleet operations. The software supports internal and external GPS receivers, using a range of wireless devices that includes smart phones and PDAs. The software also supports both CDMA and GSM cellular networks and can connect to in-vehicle sensors. FleetVista can be integrated with back-office systems.
