The SUNX FX-100 fiber-optic sensor from Panasonic Electric Works Corp. of America, New Providence, NJ, is 9 mm wide and has integrated mounting holes. Features include 4 visible red LEDs in the emitter, a dual digital display, automatic pushbutton teaching, external input capabilities, threshold tracking, timers, LED attenuation, and interference prevention. Sensors connect using an industry-standard M8 quick-disconnect.
