Phoenix Contact Inc., Middletown, PA, offers the FL-Com device server that adapts RS-485 serial devices to industrial Ethernet networks. Features include wide-range DC power supply, DIN rail mounting, 3-way isolation, surge protection, and redundant power supply capabilities. The 22.5 mm wide server supports all common protocols, including TCP/IP, PPP, 3964R, and the various Modbus protocols. You can check system status, transmit visualization data, initiate program or firmware downloads, and perform remote maintenance. Set-up is via Web browser.
