The PB-XEPI from TURCK Inc., Minneapolis, MN, is an Ethernet Profibus device coupler that combines integrated Web server software with diagnostic functionality. The device lets you monitor Profibus networks remotely through a Web browser without disrupting network operations. You can integrate the coupler into new or existing Profibus networks; it can identify any malfunctions in the network and send an error message via email with a link to the device in the message. The device can be configured as an active node on the Profibus network using FDT/DTM software.
