The dataTaker DT82E from CAS Data Loggers, Chesterland, OH, is a robust, stand-alone, low-power logger that supports SDI-12 sensors and USB memory sticks and provides 18-bit resolution, a range of communications capabilities, and a built-in display. The logger features 2–6 analog input channels, 4 bidirectional digital channels, 4 high-speed counter channels, dual-channel isolation, memory for up to 10 million data points, internal FTP and Web servers, and RS-232 with modem support, Ethernet, and USB ports. Applications include agriculture, weather stations, and hydropower.
