TinyOne ZigBee 2.4 GHz radio modules from Saelig Co. Inc., Pittsford, NY, are miniaturized OEM RF modules for integration into wireless applications. The module is RoHS- and WEEE-compliant and has an embedded ZigBee 2006 stack in a 38 by 21 by 3 mm SMD component with integrated digital TTL I/O and analog inputs. The module has 16 channels with a range of up to 70 m with 1 mW power, 0 dBm, and a serial data transmission rate of up to 115.2 Kbps. Power consumption is <30 mA, 5 μA in standby. Applications include home and office automation and other wireless sensor networks.
