FreeWave Technologies, Boulder, CO, offers the MM2-M13 and MM2-MU high-performance, tiny form-factor radios that operate in the 1.3 GHz and UHF frequencies, respectively. Features include 2 W transmitter power (1 W for MM2-M13) for a range of >60 miles; operating voltage to 8–32 VDC; ability to operate as a slave/repeater; –107 dBm receive sensitivity for BER 10-4; 230.4 Kbps max. throughput; and RS-232/485 or TTL interface. Designed for government and military OEMs, the radios are suited for use in space- and weight-critical applications such as sensors, UAVs, and UGVs.
