Embedded Mesh Gateways from Spinwave Systems

The SWRF-CLOUD-1 and SWRF-CLOUD-2 embedded mesh gateways from Spinwave Systems Inc., Westford, MA, combine mesh radio(s) and an embedded Linux computer with Apache Web server and support up to 140 wireless devices. The SWRF-CLOUD-1 has 1 mesh radio and supports up to 75 wireless devices while the SWRF-CLOUD-2 has 2 mesh radios and supports up to 140 wireless devices. The devices boot from a Micro SD card that is also used for long-term data logging. The gateways support the company's A3 sensors and transceivers, repeater, and select Modbus TCP devices and contain all tools necessary to configure and maintain the wireless mesh networks. The embedded Web client can push data to cloud-based data storage and analysis services.
