The A1359 from Allegro MicroSystems Inc., Worcester, MA, is a dual analog/PWM output, one-time-programmable linear IC that lets you optimize the device in a finished sensor assembly. Intended for use with Hall effect sensors used to measure displacement and angular position, the IC enables high accuracy and provides redundant outputs; the PWM output tracks the analog output to within a ±3% mismatch. One-time programming lets you optimize device sensitivity, quiescent output voltage, and duty cycle for a given application or circuit. The IC is intended for use in automotive electronic power steering transmission component position, brake and clutch cylinder position and other industrial applications.
