The 5R6-900 bench-top temperature controller from Oven Industries Inc., Mechanicsburg, PA, can be plugged into the wall as a self-contained temperature control system with its own power supply. The solid-state MOSFET bidirectional compact bench-top unit can load currents up to 10 A; has a digital display; adjustable output voltage; an auto output shutdown if the sensor is opened or shorted; high, low, and no alarm settings; is PC programmable, and connects to a PC via RS-232. The controller is suited for use in universities, science laboratories, and businesses that specialize in temperature control.
