Digital Pyrodetector from PerkinElmer PerkinElmer Optoelectronics March 30, 2006 PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, Fremont, CA, offers the DigiPyro digital pyroelectric IR sensor for home and industrial motion detection applications. The PYD 1998 dual-element pyrodetector combines a ceramic dual-element configuration with an integrated ADC. In contrast to traditional detection instrumentation, the DigiPyro does not require additional signal processing components. Features include improved EMI immunity and a power supply rejection ratio improved by 30 dB, as well as a 32-fold improvement over traditional analog pyrodetectors. |
