The 3085C accelerometer from Dytran Instruments Inc., Chatsworth, CA, can operate at temperatures up to 600°F and is suited for turbine engine vibration measurements and other high-temperature applications. The differential charge-mode device has 10 pC/g sensitivity, 500 g F.S. range, a hermetic seal, Inconel 600 housing, and a 3-bolt pattern mounting flange and 2-pin electrical connector. The sensor can withstand ±1000 g max. vibration, 200 g peak max. shock, and temperatures from –65°F to 600°F.
