VersaLine VL4000 Series transmitters from Process Measurement & Controls (PMC) Inc., Danbury, CT, are submersible 4–20 mA devices designed for depth and level measurements of groundwater, waste water, and sea water. Features include a polyurethane vented cable molded to the transmitter for a high-integrity waterproof assembly, a titanium housing, Kevlar to avoid cable elongation for cable lengths up to 5000 ft., and F.S. ranges as low as 10 in.w.c. Applications include small-size bore holes, wells, dams, irrigation, sewage lift stations, rivers, and oceanography.
