The Model 4225-PMU module from Keithley Instruments Inc., Cleveland, OH, works with the Model 4200-SCS semiconductor characterization system and integrates ultrafast voltage waveform generation and current/voltage measurement capabilities. Each module features 2 channels of integrated sourcing and measurement; each channel combines high-speed voltage outputs (with pulse widths from 60 ns to DC) with simultaneous current and voltage measurements at up to 200 Msps with 14-bit ADCs and 2 ADCs per channel. Voltage source ranges are ±10 V or ±40 V into 1 megaohm, and current measurement ranges are 800 mA, 200 mA, 10 mA, and 100 µA. Applications include CMOS device characterization, nonvoltatile memory device testing, and characterizing compound semiconductor devices and materials.
