The Lake Shore Model 350 temperature controller from Elliot Scientific Ltd., Harpenden, U.K., works for ultra-low-temperature applications down to 100 mK and is designed for use with pumped He-3 refrigerators, adiabatic demagnetization refrigerators, and other dilution refrigerators. The device features 4 input channels, 4 independent control outputs, patented noise reduction input circuitry, and as little as 10 nA of excitation current when used with Cernox sensors. The I/O are configurable to support a range of I/O requirements, including heaters and auxiliary devices and ruthenium oxide and platinum RTDs.
