The CorrTran corrosion data logging system from Pepperl+Fuchs Inc., Twinsburg, OH, is a Div. 2/Zone 2 system that complements the company's CorrTran online corrosion monitoring transmitter. The system lets you access real-time corrosion data via Ethernet, USB, SD card, or locally via videographic chart recorder. The data logging system is packaged in a portable SS enclosure that weighs <20 lb. The system includes the company's KFD2-HLC-EX1.D HART loop converter that takes HART data from the corrosion monitor and delivers three 4–20 mA outputs that represent general corrosion, localized corrosion, and conductance.
