Wilcoxon Research, Germantown, MD, offers 6 accelerometers certified for use in Class 1, Div. 2 (Zone 2) environments. The sensors all have 100 mV/g sensitivity and ±5% sensitivity tolerance. Models are the standard top-exit 786A-D2, standard side-exit 787A-D2, 787A-M8-D2 with a metric M8 mounting stud, the compact 780A-D2, and the integral-cable 786F-D2. The dual-output 786T-D2 can sense both vibration and temperature. Three compatible connector-cable assemblies, suitable for Class I, Div. 2 (Zone 2) environments are available.
