The Model 5100-04-IT from Sierra Monitor Corp., Milpitas, CA, is a network-enabled carbon monoxide gas sensor module. The device requires calibration every 6 months and has nonintrusive, one-person calibration. The sensor is SIL-2 certified and features an LED display, optional remote sensor configuration, and a choice or combination of 4–20 mA, RS-485 Modbus, SMC Sentry outputs or optional 8 A integral alarm/warning relays plus 2 A trouble alarm relay. Cast aluminum or 318 SS enclosures are available for operation in Class I, Div. 1, Groups B, C, and D areas.
