CaptivATE HXV from QuadTech, Marlborough, MA, is automated testing software for multipoint high-voltage isolation and continuity testing. The software automates the process of electrical safety testing when used with the company's Guardian 1000 Series, 6000 Plus, 6100 Plus, Hybrid 2000, Matrix 8000, 1730T instruments, Cytec HXV switching system, and IET Labs' 1865 Plus. Features include the ability to see all testing steps in sequence with pass/fail for each step; automatically supplied new and unique serial numbers for tested products; document retrieval during testing; and a fetch function.
