PCB Piezotronics Inc.
March 3, 2014

PCB Piezotronics’ 0.25-in., high-amplitude array microphone locates noise sources in appliances, industrial tools, machinery, aircraft, and automotive interiors. The microphone measures the audible range of human hearing and offers an extended dynamic and frequency range found on more expensive condenser microphones. An all-in-one, pre-polarized microphone and preamplifier, it has a 30-dBA low noise floor and a 143 dB upper range. Flat frequency range is up to 20 kHz. Powered by ICP, or any 2 mA to 20 mA constant current supply, the microphone is interchangeable within existing setups for ICP accelerometers, load, force, strain, and pressure sensors.
