Honeywell Sensing and Control, Minneapolis, MN, has added four standard flow ranges between ±50 sccm and ±750 sccm to its Zephyr analog and digital airflow sensors. The extended flow ranges allow the sensor to detect low-pressure drops that often occur in medical applications. In industrial applications, lower flow range detection can optimize performance in gas leak detection and clogged HVAC air filter detection. Additional features include a new port/housing style, a total error band as low as ±2.25% F.S. span, improved stability, and a linear output.
